Plans for revising STRICTA

The STRICTA Group are working with the CONSORT Group Executive (David Moher and Doug Altman) and the Chinese Cochrane Centre (Wu Taixiang and Li Youping) to revise the STRICTA guidelines as an "official" extension to CONSORT. Currently there is a consultation process involving 100 experts. This will be followed by a one day event with the intention that we reach consensus on the content of the STRICTA items by the end of the day. The event will be held in Freiburg on Oct 2nd, the day before the next Cochrane Colloquium (3rd to 7th Oct 2008).
